Why, hello there

Hello to everyone! Er, if anyone actually does read this blog. I have no idea. I do have two followers though, which I'm very thankful for. Not much has happened since my last entry, to be honest. I just felt like making an entry. Oh! I am making a studio in my room though. And my dad is going to take me tonight to look at lights and stuff. So I'm pretty excited. I'm going to temporarily use the wall next to my bed, but I want to eventually clear an entire wall. Which will be difficult, because I have a desk the size of an elephant and a twin sized bed. Baby steps though, right? Anyway, that's pretty much it.

Näkemiin,

Kels

(That's goodbye in Finnish, by the way.)

Phew.

Wow. I've been extremely busy for the past three days. I've been going non-stop, and I've barely had any time to relax until now. I had three family get-togethers in two days. That's exhausting. I hope everyone's Christmas was good! Mine was. I got an awesome book about the Vatican. I know that seems weird, but it's a subject I'm really interested in. I also got two movies, and a season of one of my favorite TV shows, Bones. And my parents also bought the family a new computer monitor. It's pretty spiffy. Anyway, I'm gonna go lay down. I've had hiccups for the past 10 minutes and it's caused a mean stomach ache. Urgh.

Adios!

Happy Christmas Eve!

So it's Christmas Eve! I'm so happy. I'm hanging out with my parents, and I made peanut butter balls. I kind of failed at them, but they'll still taste good. My best friend Kirsten is coming over in a little bit, my grandparents are coming over soon, and then my mom's best friend's family is coming over too. We'll probably play some Rock Band and board games, and just laugh a lot. And then they'll leave, and tomorrow morning it will be just my parents, brother, and I. I'm so excited!

Earlier today, I went to a Christmas Eve service at my church. I love my church, by the way. Anyway, it was such an awesome service. But, the best part was when we lit our candles. I had never experienced that before, apparently it's something churches do all the time for these kind of services. But it was so...moving. Everyone was silent as we all tightly gripped our wax candles above our heads, and as I looked around, I knew everyone in the room was feeling the same thing. It was just amazing.

So yeah. I'm having a great Christmas Eve so far!

Hope you're having a wonderful night!

Uh...

Sorry! I haven't blogged in forever. My bad. I just sort of...forgot? Yeah, let's go with that. Anyway, I've been pretty good. My life is a tad boring at the moment, but it's still okay. It's almost Christmas, and I'm super excited. No, not because of the presents. No, not because of the family. But it's my first official year as a Christian. I mean, I've always believed in God, but this past year I believed it for myself, and not because I was raised that way. So I'm really looking forward to celebrating the birth of my savior for reals this time. Anyway, I haven't been able to upload and edit any photos lately, because the home computer is fried again. So I've been surviving off of my brother's and dad's laptops. And I've come to realize that laptops frustrate me. A lot.

On a different note, I saw Cupcake Boy for the first time in months. I, of course, was too shy to even look him in the eye. Yes, I'm that pathetic. I literally get so nervous that I stumble all over and basically ignore him. I wish I had more courage to at least say hello. But no. It's me. Naturally I can't do that. If I tried, I would probably implode. So I just sat there as he walked in. I ate the remaining bits of my orange cupcake with shaky hands until he left the room. Then I quickly made my exit.

I fail at boys. I think I've come to the conclusion that I'll be single for the rest of my life. I mean, you have to actually talk to boys you like for them to become your significant other, right? Yeah. So, I'll just be a crazy cat lady. That sounds like fun. Maybe I'll be like the Duggars and name them all with J names. Mhm. It'll be rad.

Anyway, I better be off. Merry Christmas to all! (And Happy Holidays to people who celebrate something different!)

Shalom,

Kels
