My dad is amazing.

Before I had to leave for the bus stop, I received the following text message:

Have a great gay!

Love,

Dad

Hola!

Hello everyone! So far I am having a good day. I was very productive in my classes today and have no homework, I'm officially all caught up from when I was absent, I created my first video and I really love it, and I'm hanging out with my dad tonight while my mom plays bunco with her friends. And right now, I'm blaring I Want To Break Free by Queen. Nothing is better than that. I just made a playlist called Feel Good Music. Songs that give me that happy feeling. Here are the songs:

I Want To Break Free - Queen
Daylight - Matt and Kim
Invisible Touch - Phil Collins
When The Day Met The Night - Panic At The Disco
Come Sail Away - Styx
Down To Earth - Peter Gabriel
Fat Bottomed Girls - Queen
Fresh Feeling - Eels
Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car - Billy Ocean
Hoppipolla - Sigur Ros
Human Touch - Rick Springfield
500 miles - The Proclaimers
Live Out Loud - Steven Curtis Chapman
More Than A Feeling - Boston
Obladi Oblada - The Beatles
Only The Good Die Young - Billy Joel
Star Girl - McFly
Under Pressure - David Bowie/Queen
Wake The Sun - The Matches
Transylvania - McFly
You Make My Dreams - Hall and Oates

It's kind of a long playlist, but it's good. Well, I better get going. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Bye!

Wooh!

It's the weekend! And I just slept in until 12pm. It's a lot better than waking up at 5:45am, let me tell you that. Yesterday I went to see my high school's school musical, Music Man. It was really good. I had never seen Music Man, and I really enjoyed the story. One of my good friends was in it, and it was fun to see him sing a song called Shipoopi. So today I'm hanging out with my best friend Kirsten. It was her birthday on the 4th, so it's kind of like a mini celebration. I'm making dinner for her, sticky chicken. It's such a delicious recipe! I put my own spin on it, too. Let's just say that garlic and cinnamon go better together than you think. And tonight we're also going to church, which I missed last week due to H1N1. Speaking of Swine Flu, I have some things to say about it Here we go:

1. It's not a big deal. Don't freak out.
2. More people die of the regular flu than the swine flu. It's only worse for a person if they have underlying health conditions, like really bad asthma or diabetes or something.
3. Just because I got the vaccine, does not mean I got it from it. So many people told me this. It's annoying.
4. I always mispell it as Swine Fly. I have no idea why.
5. When I got back to school and people asked where I was, I responded Swine Flu. People had many reactions: "What?! You did?!" (as if they were surprised I hadn't died) and more than one person actually backed away as if I was still contagious.

So basically, all I want to say is that it is not a big deal. It's just like the flu, but a little different. It doesn't mean if you get H1N1 you will die. It really makes me mad that tons of people think that.

And I'm finished ranting! I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, everyone.

Bye!

Er...

I sorta forgot about my blog. Oops...

I'm pretty much all better now. I had swine flu, and all that's left now is a cough and a little congestion. I'm almost all caught up in school, I only have to take two more make up tests. I was absent for an entire week, which is really difficult to make up. But I managed to stay sane, and my life seems to be back to normal. During this time at home, I became addicted to Disney Channel. I know, I'm 16, but I'm not ashamed to say that I think Disney Channel is amazing. Yes, all of the shows are extremely corny. But they're still funny, especially Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Gomez makes me laugh really hard. Speaking of Selena Gomez, I recently watched Another Cinderella Story. And let me tell you, I am officially in love with Drew Seeley. (I mean seriously, how can you look at that face and not instantly be on cloud nine?) In my personal opinion, he's the hottest guy ever. Just puttin' that out there.

Anyhoo, I better go. Mi madre just got home and I think we'll be eating some dinner soon. Because if food doesn't get inside this kid's system, she's going to rip someone's head off. Oh hey, you learned something new about me! Yes, I become extremely cranky when I'm hungry. I can usually control the monster when I'm around people I don't know very well. But just ask my family and close friends. They'll have horror stories.

Well, have a good night!

O_O

I'm still sick. It's my third day home from school. I am going insane.

D:

Being sick sucks big time. I didn't go to school today because my fever was at a steady 102*F almost all day. And I can't go tomorrow, because apparently there's a "rule" about being fever free for 24 hours before returning. Though, my fever is not gone yet so I suppose that's not even relevant. I went to bed at 9pm last night, and woke up at 12am feeling very worse. My body aches were so bad I couldn't get comfortable, thus me being kept awake until 5am. So yes, I'm running on three hours of sleep. Yet I couldn't fall asleep at all today. Can you tell I'm a bit upset? Anyway, enough whining. I hope you all are healthy.

May the force be with you.

Uuugh.

I'm sick. Like, fever with body aches sick. And it sucks. A lot. Not to mention today is the first day of NaNoWriMo, and I haven't written anything yet. My head is just too clouded. But besides that, yesterday was Halloween, and it was tons of fun. My family had a party, and I had a super awesome time with my friends. At least I got sick after Halloween and not before. Well, I'm gonna go try and rest up a bit. There's no way I'm missing school tomorrow, so I wanna feel my best.

Hasta luego.
