Wooh!

It's the weekend! And I just slept in until 12pm. It's a lot better than waking up at 5:45am, let me tell you that. Yesterday I went to see my high school's school musical, Music Man. It was really good. I had never seen Music Man, and I really enjoyed the story. One of my good friends was in it, and it was fun to see him sing a song called Shipoopi. So today I'm hanging out with my best friend Kirsten. It was her birthday on the 4th, so it's kind of like a mini celebration. I'm making dinner for her, sticky chicken. It's such a delicious recipe! I put my own spin on it, too. Let's just say that garlic and cinnamon go better together than you think. And tonight we're also going to church, which I missed last week due to H1N1. Speaking of Swine Flu, I have some things to say about it Here we go:

1. It's not a big deal. Don't freak out.
2. More people die of the regular flu than the swine flu. It's only worse for a person if they have underlying health conditions, like really bad asthma or diabetes or something.
3. Just because I got the vaccine, does not mean I got it from it. So many people told me this. It's annoying.
4. I always mispell it as Swine Fly. I have no idea why.
5. When I got back to school and people asked where I was, I responded Swine Flu. People had many reactions: "What?! You did?!" (as if they were surprised I hadn't died) and more than one person actually backed away as if I was still contagious.

So basically, all I want to say is that it is not a big deal. It's just like the flu, but a little different. It doesn't mean if you get H1N1 you will die. It really makes me mad that tons of people think that.

And I'm finished ranting! I hope you have a wonderful Saturday, everyone.

Bye!
